As many of you have noticed, the server was laggy, and went down once. This is because Eikik, who is basically the landskeeper of Tehrawr, and myself have been restoring places long abandoned and bombarded with TNT. We've been doing out best to do the editing in small sections, but it's difficult depending on how the land looks. Currently we have managed to clean up shore, which was a master-disaster area.

In addition to terraforming, we have received many mod applications and are choosing the best. There has also been some confusion on the server of what a rank really means, and how you get it. First off, please do not ask for Mod/Admin if you just joined, or just out of the blue asked, this lessens your chances. As well as this, the duties of myself are very extensive, from terraforming, to reviving the server after a crash. So please post an application and we will get back to you.

Well, this is the first of our weekly updates. We'll basically be putting anything in here that has happened during the week that we feel deserves a place in here, along with future plans that we hope to integrate in the next few weeks.

Well, firstly, we've got the new modreq plugin almost up and running. There are a few issues with reading tickets, but other than that it works. This plugin allows any member with a problem to request assistance from the staff by using /modreq [message]. We installed it mainly because of the number of people asking for help in the chat, when there aren't always moderators or admins online.

We've also started Eikik1's "pimp my house" project, where he will pick a random player from the server, and totally remake their house to be totally epic! The winner will be announced in each weekly update. Congratulations to Schinella47 this week, your house has been visited by eikik! Screenshots will be in a different thread to keep the size of this one down.

So, plans for the next few weeks... Well, as suggested by a couple of our members, we will be having events where on certain days, all McMMO experience will be increased. You can check when this will be happening on our steam group (http://steamcommunity.com/groups/tehrawrmc), or if you don't have Steam, we will announce it in our Twitter feed too. Hey everyone,

So Eikik is now running a "lottery", where he will pick five people from the server every week. Using a random number generator (made by yours truly), he will pick the winner, and while they are offline, remake their house with added epicosity.

If you want to verify that there is nothing unfair about how we pick the winner, the program used to pick the winner is on the website. You can find it here.

In other news, Eikik and I (me not so much due to being stuck on a netbook which can barely run minecraft) are working on a new faction based on the Night's Watch from the Game of Thrones books and TV series. If you've read or watched any of it, you'll be familiar with the Wall and Castle black, and these will be the main features of the faction. Just to make sure nobody goes and blows up the wall after we spend so long making it, the faction will be peaceful. This means that they will be unable to attack other factions, or be attacked, which just happens to fit in with the theme of the Night's Watch not being involved in the affairs of the realm.

The lottery system will be starting this sunday, and will be run every sunday, unless something prevents us from doing it. We'll be starting some weekly updates on the news section, so we will announce the winner there. To enter, you just have to be online when we pick the 5 random people. If there are more than 5 people online at the time, we will pick the first 5 on the list.

Hey again!

So, we've installed McMMO. We're leaving the poll up for a while to see if anyone has any other suggestions, but if not, then McMMO is staying. In other news, I'm working on a "trailer" for the server, so if anyone has any ideas for shots, tell me and I'll see if I can use it. I'll need a LOT of shots, the music I'm using is 4:20 of violin dubstep (Sounds weird, but it's epic).

I'll post the trailer here, and use it for the PMC page once it's finished.
